Spring is a time for new beginnings and a renewal of life. For its 10th Year Anniversary, Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou collaborates with renowned writer and artist Feng Tang.The first stop of the calligraphy exhibition "Everything Grows" in Guangzhou will be held at the Oriental Club of Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou. From March 10th to April 23rd, 2023, the Oriental Club will be transformed into an art gallery, where designer Tony Chi's classic Eastern charm and Feng Tang's calligraphy works will be displayed concurrently to create a unique artistic ambiance. Guests will immerse themselves in an extraordinary and private art experience, coupled with more than 60 new calligraphy and painting works under the theme of spring and flora by Feng Tang. Designed to create a unique and creative art experience, the interactive exhibition also invites guests to use specially processed floral and leaf materials to create their personalised bookmarks and fans as souvenirs. During the exhibition period, the hotel will offer a themed afternoon tea, themed cakes and a Chinese set menu to echo with the theme of "Spring Blooming". Drawing unlimited inspiration from Feng Tang's calligraphy works, Executive Chef Ivan blends his unique handwriting with spring floral and bird elements into cuisine design, reflecting the gorgeous and colourful spring season in the southern China and the charm of the “flower city”.
